How much is recording studio time in Cardiff?+
Silkcrayon studio sessions start from £50 per hour with an engineer included. Your booking page shows the live price before you confirm.
Is an engineer included?+
Yes. Standard Silkcrayon recording sessions include an engineer. If you are an experienced engineer or producer and only need the room, Dry Hire is available separately.
Where is Silkcrayon Studios?+
Silkcrayon is in Portland House in Cardiff Bay, close to central Cardiff. The Getting Here page includes the studio entrance, parking guidance and arrival instructions.
What should I bring to a recording session?+
Bring the beat, stems or project files you want to work from, plus any references or notes that explain the direction. If you are unsure what files are needed, contact us before the session.
Can I record vocals and then have the song mixed and mastered?+
Yes. Recording, production and mixing and mastering can stay connected within the same Silkcrayon project so the intent from the recording session carries through to the finished record.
